Just like Holbek and Piø before me, I've chosen to separate creatures based on their origin - whether they first appeared in folklore (the everyday beliefs and worldview of laymen) or mythology (stories that layfolk were presumably aware were exaggerated or fabricated, and which thus haven't had a large impact on their day-to-day).
